Will Hillenbrand

A Cincinnati native, children's author and illustrator, Will says that he was born under a happy star. Will
has created nearly 50 books, including such favorites
as Down by the Station, My Book Box, Asleep in the Stable, and with his wife Jane as author he illustrated What a Treasure!

Will enjoys visiting schools and playing baseball
with his son Ian. He attended the Cincinnati School
of Art and still lives in his hometown. His books have
received numerous national awards including two
IRA Children’s Choice Awards and he has received
a Gold Medal and other honors from the Society
of Illustrators.
