Free download from Ohioana Book Festival author

METAtropolis, a new science fiction collection edited by and featuring a story from Ohioana Book Festival author John Scalzi, is available to download in audio format from Audible.com. This free download is only available for a limited time.

METAtropolis, which also features stories by authors Elizabeth Bear, Jay Lake, Karl Schroeder, and Ohioan Tobias Buckell, is the story of “the dawn of uncivilization,” where big cities are dead or dying, and the battle over technology is often to the death.

METAtropolis has been nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form, competing against Hollywood heavyweight films The Dark Knight, Wall*E, Hellboy II and Iron Man, and is the first audiobook ever to receive a nomination. Several of the stories are read by Battlestar Galactica actors Michael Hogan (”Colonel Tigh”), Alessandro Juliani (”Felix Gaeta”); and Kandyse McClure (”Anastasia ‘Dee’ Dualla”).
